Our Story

Dheerya was started in 2016 as a brainchild of Mr. Prakruth Yadalam. Initially kickstarted by teaching just a handful of students, Dheerya has now grown to have impacted 10,000+ children and has a team of around 800 volunteers across various projects. Ranging from projects related to environmental improvement, education of the girl-child, education of the underprivileged and rural development, to name a few, Dheerya aims to have a lasting impact by reforming society.

Despite the pandemic being a minor setback, our organization has grown to be an integral part of development in various orphanages, slums and in the lives of many underprivileged children. With our volunteers visiting the orphanages over 4 times a month, the students that we work with have become an important part of the Dheerya family, For Dheerya this is just a beginning and we strive to improve the lives of many more, one step at a time.
